The Board of The Friends of the Newburyport Public Library (FOL) values the efforts and support of all our FOL Members and Book Sale volunteers. To celebrate the success of our Spring Book Sale and the progress of our Annual Appeal campaign, we would like to show our appreciation for your continued support by hosting the FOL Spring Gratitude Event in your honor.

Newburyport Public Library – Program Room

Please join us in the Program Room anytime between 7:00 – 8:30 PM. Refreshments will be served. Door prizes will be drawn every 30 minutes, giving everyone a chance to win!

All 2025 FOL Members and past Book Sale Volunteers are invited to register for the event. Beginning Monday, May 19th at 9:00 AM, you can REGISTER HERE  or in person at the library circulation desk.

The last day to register for this event is Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

Whether you volunteer for a book sale event, donate a book in someone’s honor, or become a dedicated supporter, FOL greatly appreciates your participation. Over the past few months, we have been highlighting some of the programs and services FOL is proud to support at the library: programs offering discount museum passes, free in-home TV streaming services with Kanopy as well as a summer reading program for kids and teens. Without your memberships, donations and volunteer support, these FOL-funded programs and services would not be possible.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, so all contributions to FOL are tax deductible.
